Qualifications are not so important!

“A degree does not tell much about yourself”.
Yes! That’s what everybody says.

Indeed, qualifications have long been considered only a necessary condition when you apply for a job, especially in the ICT industry. Skills, experience and attitude are such that matter more.

However, let’s take another look at the business side of IT. When your company/organization wants to win a contract, it is essential that you show your capabilities and potentials.
The capabilities are reflected in the company’s prestige and portfolio.
The potentials are the competence of your workforce. The most convincing way of doing so is showing off the statistics of their degrees and certifications. In other word, the more recognizingly qualified employees you have, the higher chance that you will win the contracts.

In such point of view, qualifications are of great importance!

As a matter of fact, leading companies applies incentive system for their associates for achieving international qualifications.
